43 catamarans and trimarans participated in the regatta.  All had a marvellous time under sunny skies with wind coming in a bit light on Friday but building during the weekend.  Great competition on the water, comradery on land, and wonderful hospitality from the Sarasota Sailing Squadron.

Friday’s long distance race of 19.56 nm was out on the Gulf of Mexico with a fleet of 11 Stilettos, Merlin Gulfstream 35, Endeavour 36, Formula 30, Corsair 27, C2 F18, and a 16 Weta.  Races on Saturday and Sunday were on two courses on Sarasota Bay with additions to the fleet of: 3 Corsairs, 6 WindRiders,10 Hobie Waves, Nacra 20 & 18, F16, Hobie 21 & 18, GCat 16, and a Reynolds 21.
