5/11/2020 – April Report 2020 SSS MANAGER
April realized the unprecedented emergency closure of the City of Sarasota and the Sailing Squadron. With the circumstances being what they are, much of April was spent catching up on maintenance, rebuilding and back office projects. The Club’s Directors have been diligent and meeting regularly to best navigate the Club through these extraordinary circumstances. The good news is we are currently, as of May 4th in a state of Limited Opening. This gives the Members and their households the opportunity to enjoy the treat of sailing on Sarasota Bay again.
- I’m pleased to welcome 33 New Memberships YTD. In the shutdown only Ian Maccini joined our ranks. We’ve finished 2019 with 641 Active Family Memberships. We’ve received 497 paid Membership as of end of April. 534 total active Membership (with Honorary), leaving almost 100 2020 Memberships to be addressed.
